Bato Plastics develops, produces and distributes (plastic) products for the horticultural industry, such as cultivation products (clips) and substrate trays.
In addition, Bato performs client-specific plastic injection moulding work, including for the electrical engineering industry. The horticultural products are supplied worldwide through a carefully selected distribution network. The products are used in, for example, tomato, cucumber and paprika cultivation, but also in the ornamental horticulture and cultivation of soft fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. Bato is located in Zevenbergen and has about 35 employees.
VADO investment rationale
BATO is known worldwide in the market for injection moulding products for cultivation. The degree of innovation is high. This strong market position combined with the highly efficient production facility where articles are produced 24/7 with a low staffing level make Bato a strong company.
